EP sweet life (2021):

An experiment across genres, mainly electronically produced, fusing Jazz with Dub, Hiphop and Electronic. sweet life may be the basis for the similiarly called live-project but has to be seen more as a starting point. The intention was to start somewhere else and find new and individual paths. Breaking up consistent patterns often leads to quite interesting and unexpected places. The music of the live-project yvonnemoriel :: sweetlife has meanwhile changed and developed a lot, opening up to free sheets of improvisation, trance-like grooves and avantgardistic sound-paintings.

Creative process, recording and production were all happening at the same time with sweet life, which of course is only possible through the interplay of highest musicianship and excellent craft. Basically all tracks consist of the original takes recorded during the creation process due to simply capturing best a certain, honest vibe and the raw appeal of the imperfect.
dubh. spreads some chill Reggae-vibes, creating a particular charm through the combination of saxophone and flute sounds, laid-back reggae-basslines and dub-effects. lofi. mixes J Dilla-Beats with Jazz and Hiphop, luzzo. and flutejam. bring in some Worldmusic-elements. ocean. combines drum- computer and vocoder with non-delimitable themes & improviations.
